Completed just yesterday and now Enlightenment For Sale in MY SHOP I feel that this piece correctly represents what I have been striving to do for years. I feel I am on the right path and finding my artistic voice. I feel so happy and inspired!

Artist Spotlight: Cathy Cullis

I am truly fascinated by Cathy Cullis and her embroidery work. Her texture and linear elements are what I have been drawing from on my latest quick painterly sketches. I also love her choice of color pallets. I am usually drawn to brilliant colors but the monotone choice for these pieces are quite inspiring and a bit of a challenge for me. I like a challenge.
