My husband and I bought a mid century home and have been trying for the past 3 years to get it back to it's original beauty with a little modern twist of course. I have even found myself envisioning her light pencil strokes coupled with her bold use of black during my daily meditation. I am totally crushing and proud of it. Google Sgraffito and find out, dude. J/K. Sgraffito is a style of painting. It is when the artist removes or scratches the paint off or onto the surface. I do that. So there.
